Mr. Munirul Haque , An architect by profession , was born on June 21,1948.He got his Bachelor of Architect degree from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology ( BUET) as early as in 1970 and obtained First Class. He also completed his M.Sc. in Architecture is in 1993. At present he is working on a thesis in the Subject.

He is a Member of Institute of Architects , Bangladesh and a life fellow ,Illumination Society of Bangladesh . During his chequered  career , he worked in various capacities as an architect and designed  many important Multi-storied building  of the country including renovating of Hotel Intercontinental  a Five star hotel of the country. Beside this , he has designed 22- storied Student’s Residential hall of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology , 20- storied World Trade Center  building of Bangladesh Export Promotion Bureau, Canadian High Commission’s Residence at Dhaka , Shopping Center , 22- storied Pani Sampad Bhaban at Dhaka , 10- storied Office Building for Chembers of commerce  and Industries , Dhaka , Asian Development Bank, Bangladesh Resident Office, Dhaka , UNDP office at Dhaka , 7- storied  office building for Beximco at Dhanmondi , Dhaka , 4- storied ALICO (American Life Insurance Company ) building at Dhaka and the famous Box Culvert & Improvement of lake BEHIND Hotel Sonargaon, Dhaka . Shilpakala Academy Auditorium at Bagerhat , 5 - Storied school campus building of The Historic St. Gregory’s High School.

At present he is Managing Director of a consulting firm “Desh  Updesh Ltd”  . It is a leading Architectural firm of the country , which in the meantime , constructed  Independent  university of Bangladesh Campus Building , BGMEA Complex , Container terminal at Chittagong  , Eight District Stadium of Bangladesh . Mr. Haque is a well known Architect of Bangladesh having fame far and wide.

In Personal Life he is Married to Ismat Rahman  and Father of Two Loving daughters , Shagufta Munir and Shahreen Munir .
